Kim and Erik are the husband and wife owners and founders of Trusty Services LLC, a licensed contractor handyman business serving home owners and business owners in Kitsap County.
They’re locals who have spent most of their lives right here in Kitsap; working, raising families, and building the kind of reputation that comes from treating neighbors the way you'd want to be treated yourself.

Kim Campbell
Interior Designer
Kim grew up learning home improvement and interior design from the inside out. As the oldest kid in the family, she was her dad's right-hand helper from an early age — and that meant the real stuff, from crawling under the house to getting up on the roof. By the time she was an adult, she already knew her way around a home improvement project.
Over the years, Kim has worn a lot of hats. She's been a chef, a florist, a restaurateur, and a retail shop owner. With each business she owned, she rolled up her sleeves and handled the design and renovation work herself.
She has a genuine love for the process of taking a space that isn't quite working and making it both functional and beautiful.
These days, Kim brings that same eye for detail and hands-on creativity to Trusty Services. She thinks carefully about your space before picking up a single tool and even bakes her clients thank-you cookies when the job is done. That probably tells you everything you need to know about how she does business.
ERIK KLeIVa
Contractor Handyman - Licensed and Accredited
Erik has been figuring out how things work (and how to make them better) since he was a kid. His grandfather George was his first teacher, passing down a hands-on philosophy that covered everything from home maintenance to auto repair to fabrication. That curiosity never left him.
He started his first business at sixteen, a window cleaning service, and has been running something ever since. After working across various construction trades including home construction, roofing, and more, he built a career in the car audio and custom integration industry, founding a retail store called Radio Guy in Poulsbo in the '90s. The business grew and evolved through the 2000s into whole-house audio, home theater, and custom integration work.
From there, Erik and Kim took on the Port Gamble General Store and Café together, running it from 2010 to 2019. Erik handled the build-out and ongoing maintenance through every expansion and renovation. They've also co-owned and operated Nightshade and The Manette Daily here in Kitsap County, where construction and upkeep were again Erik's domain.
Along the way, he has remodeled and flipped homes, managed a residential and commercial real estate portfolio — including a five-unit apartment building and several rental properties — and ran a solo handyman operation called Adaptable Handyman. He's a two-time cancer survivor whose resilience is as much a part of who he is as his work ethic.
Erik moved to Kitsap in 1992 to raise his family and has been part of this community ever since. He and Kim founded Trusty Services LLC in 2026, bringing everything they've built — and learned — into a new business.

Located in the shadow of the Olympic Mountains in Washington’s northwest corner, Kim and Erik have been building things together for a long time.
Long before Trusty Service LLC, they ran the Port Gamble General Store and Café for nearly a decade, along with other Kitsap businesses including Nightshade and The Manette Daily.
Through every one of those ventures, they divided the work the way it made sense, led by Kim's creativity and design instincts, alongside Erik's planning, construction and maintenance expertise.
That same partnership is what powers Trusty Services LLC today.
